Well here is a "theory" about sexing dumeril boas. I have actually proven this for the past four years but I never looked into it with other breeders to see if it is a weird coincidence. Every year for the past four years I have been producing Dumeril boas.....and every year I can sex them just by looking at the coloration. females appear to be way more coppery and bright males r darker and duller. So far it has worked from two different lines of dumerils and I have had 100% success. So no idea if any other dumeril breeder ever noticed this or if anyone else looked into it but I just find it interesting. MO

I know pictures never do justice, but can you try posting some of each sex so we may have a chance to see the differences you're describing?
