Reptiles anyone?

Hey everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone in Saskatchewan brred any types of Reptiles. I have Bearded Dragons, and I know Shawn has turtles, but is their anyone else out there. I know there are a lot of people breeding various snake species. Maybe because the space requirement is smaller, or the work load is less, I don;t know.

IS there a reason most people stick with snakes? What does everyone think?

Well, snakes are the typical low maintenence reptile pet. Plus they are indeed so cool, so that probably sums it up. (this of course also includes no bugs needed)

I'm sure people do keep many other species though. I myself, (an Albertan though so I don't really fit your question) keep amphibians, monitors, turtles, assorted lizards and tortoises, in addition to a handfull of snakes.

Thats actually the sort of response that I was expecting, and I do agree. After this year, my first season with snakes and Dragons, I'm almost thinking I might move towards more reptile species. Maybe just keep MIlks/kings.
