Hi. I have 3 snakes that were raised on live rodents. (Ages 8 -10yrs)Is it possible to get them to easily eat pre killed mice? Thanks.

It is a good possibility. They probably have great feeding responses because they are so old. I would suggest getting some long forceps (if you don`t already have them) and move the thawed rodent around like as if it was alive, and I am sure the snake will take it. The hungrier the snake the bettter. I strongly believe in frozen VS live for my animals. I have done this over the years (even with picky eaters)- and have successfully converted every time. I thaw the rodents in warm water, and then make sure it is slightly warm when I go to feed. It just a lot more economical to use F/T feeders, not to mention safer. Good Luck
