I've been trying for awhile now to breed crickets for the Bearded Dragons I have, and the ones I am planning to breed, but untill recently, I couldn't figure it out. On Tuesday night I was debating throwing one batch out, but then I actually looked in the dirt. And this is what I found!! Thousands of eggs!!! And those are just the ones around the outside of the container. I was planning on saying that I expact them all to hatch shortly, but when I was taking this pic I noticed they already started!! And I have another I still have to move to incubation!!

Cool, crickets can be a pain in the butt to breed, but it looks like you have the knack Ian

We tried breeding crickets a few times, and had some success... We found that getting the eggs and hatching them was the easier part, and that sucessfully rearing the little ones to any significant size was the tricky part - they seem to be very picky about humidity, etc. We gave up eventually - but mostly because the smell of crickets drives me nuts! Best of luck with yours!! Kaley

I have tried breeding crickets for tarantulas before and used All-Bran cereal soaked in water and found that it worked great to gut load them. Try it out.
