Friends of ours had to move suddlenly from Alberta to Ontario and we helped them out with a few of their critters that could not be safely moved and 7 Crestie eggs. Picked them up Saturday night and now we have 2 babies, 1 stillbirth and we are waiting on the 4 remaining eggs... So egggciting as we have never seen egg births!
Will get pictures up soon as my daughter lets me in her room alone...hehe

Wow we are up to 4 babies now. Two egss left to go.... So far it is Temperance, Hodgens, Zack & Marg. The next 2 are gonna be Angela and Kam. We seem to have a Bones theme at our house as 3 of our beardies are named Booth, Bones and Sweets.

Here is the first, closest and clearest picture we could get. They are elusive lil critters. She was the first to hatch and has a white cream line straight down her back. Her sister has cream lines that go horizontial. Our daughter is gone for the weekend so I will sneak in to her room and while spritzing I will try and sneak more shots of the rest of the babies. This is all 6 of them, taken a few weeks back of the first feeding. Didnt know how much to give all six together so gave them 2 caps. Left it in overnight and what do ya know the next day my daughter was able to hold 5 of the 6...... This weekend they get broken up in to the hatching pairs, two per tank. Attachments:

Well our daughter is keeping the first born for herself....She cant seem to part with her at all. The second born my hubby is keeping and then I get the second last born and our daughters friend gets the last born. For the middle two we are exploring two ideas. 1) see if it is possible to set at least one of them up in the school as a learning tool as we have seen that done before and it has been a roaring sucess. The other idea is to keep the two of them in our collection and wait until we can determine the sex. From there we could then decide what to do.

We have fianlly arrived and are settling in, sorry for my long absence but I will now cram the forums...
The babies have not grown much, we found out that the breeder did not have the most 'ideal' conditions, so we are dealing with 'stunted' babies. They get lots calcium, GCD diet and proper humidity, but they are growing really slow. Its almost like always having babies.
We have two other eggs from our cresties that are just over 2 months, so we expect babies really soon.....They will be normal size.....
Everything made the trip wonderfully and are all settled in. Now just waiting for hubby to build me HUGE custom tanks for our beardies......
