I doubt I would ever own an Indigo, but it could happen.. I have the poor mans version of an Indigo though.. This is Quinn, and he is a Mexican Black King also known as an MBK.. This guy is never easy to get a decent picture of, I guess I should learn to deal with my camera a bit better.. Regards... Tim of T and J

MBK are fun snakes - great in their own right without comparison to Indigos. We used to keep them and really enjoyed them - great feeders and sweet little guys - but like you say - hard to photograph.
Got to spend some time with some Eastern Indigos visiting Annette last weekend - no comparison to any other species - they are just wicked!!

I"m a fan of both MBK's and Indigos and agree the only even remote similarity is the colour. I only keep the MBK's and have a blast with them. I have 4, and they have really gotten me into looking at other lampro's as well.
