Andeans are the largest and most southerly Milks snake. These guys are from South America and are generally found in the ( You guessed it .. ) The Andean Mountain area.. These particulair Milks can grow up to 7ft in length, and tend to have a voracious appetite.. The above pictured guy is not the typical banded animal that we normally would find.. His morph is known as Inca.. Regards..... Tim of T and J

Looking good - starting to get some black tipping that is typical of these guys - will be interested to see how much of his white coloration he retains as he matures.

Thanks for the kind words Joey..
There is a reason why I picked up the Andeans.. Very few people work with these giants ( they are the largest of the Milks Snake family ) and they are just unique animals to begin with.. I really don't want the same thing everyone else has...

Hi Tim,
The thread is old but anyway. Wow. I love your Andeans. Say...do you know anyone in Canada that breeds them? Are they typical crazy juveniles that calm down or are they calm from the get go?

I believe there is at least one person in Canada breeding them.. I can't tell you their name, because I eithier can;t remember it or the name was never dropped to begin with.. Their nature when they are young * in my case anyways* is that they are pretty chill and friendly.. Now when they are in the mood to eat, yeah, they can be rather nutty, but no wheres near the craziness of the hondo I have floating around here..

It should be noted that these guys will get a melanistic wash over them.. Not a very pretty tri band as adults, but intresting enough in my eyes, for whom I am the beholder.. *lol*
