Just wondering who is planning to make the trip to the Red Deer show this year. We have our first corn clutch feeding, so they will be ready to go - hoping that two others and maybe some hondos will be hatched by then. Have some adults to sell also and maybe shopping for a new corn or two.
Anyone else making the trip?

Sorry to hear you won't be making it this year Ryan - won't be the same without you there - you have been a fixture since the beginning.
Shawn - it is possible I will have some table space - it is the last weekend in August both Saturday and Sunday. It does look as if there are fewer vendors this year than there have been in the past, but it is a nice show and there are a few new people coming out this year from Ontario.

I'm not going this year either. For me I do not make enough money at a show to be able to cover the $100.00 in gas, $150.00 in trailer rental, $180.00 in table fees, plus food and hotel. For me it is too expensive. People who have lots to sell at lower prices, but sell lots it is easy to cover the costs, but for me with the cages it isn't. Im sure it will be a good show all the same, but it did look like their was some notable names missing off of the vendor list so far.
