I have not kept fish for 5 or so years. I was re-bitten by the fish bug after I heard Spencer Jack give his field collection talk about Bolivia. This talk was at the Saskatoon Aquarium Society. His talk was mostly about fish but there were a few pics of Black caiman, they even stepped on one during the trip. So after I got home I found a 15g long tank perfect for a few dwarf cichlids, after I found another 15 long that did hold water I set it up. The real challenge with fish is finding ones you don't dream of being dead so you can get new ones. I decided on some sort of cichlid 1 species is easier to keep together than many and dwarfs are smaller thus more fish. I decided on Pseudotropheus demosani as my pick, a Lake Malawi Cichlid with the most brilliant of blues on blue making this pleasing to the home aquaria. This is a mouth brooder also which fascinates me to no end. I can stare all day at the black dotted transparencies looking back at me through their mothers maw. Well that's all about my 5 new fish pics will be up after they reach maturity.

I bred them for about 6 months and sold them back into the SAS at the auction along with their babies.
