I recently came across a pik of an albino Tiger salamander in the latest Reptile Magazine.WOW!! they are gorgeous.Just curious if anyone has evr come across one or heard of then being offered for sale.I am keeping a tiger as of now since late summer , because I've always found them very intersting and entertaining.Back in the day I used to find eggs and raise them up to adulthood.I think we are lucky in the area to have such a gourgeous specie and it is one of the bigger ones as well.It has quite the pesonality and is very personable , I find.

ah, ya I've been lazy and havn't renewed,... hmm, it is more work to go and pick it up each month though...
Hey, has anyone every submitted an article to Reptiles? They have one I wrote on Boid inclusion body disease and are holding it to use it if it ever fits into the layout. Just curious as to how often this happens.

Tiger salamanders, and most ambystomids are usually quite difficult to find most of the year. During the spring and fall they migrate to and from breeding ponds. Usually after a ground drenching rain is when you'll find them out and about; this is also the time most people come across them as they'll get trapped in swimming pools, window wells, and other pit traps.
