Hi, I'm trying to figure out whats available or will be available this year. I want to be able to pick a turtle and research it but I don't want to research every turtle only to find out I can't get them. I want an aquatic or semi aquatic turtle but I'm also willing to consider a terrestrial species or perhaps a tortoise. So if you know of someone breeding turtles this year let me know and I can start my research.
Thanks, Joseph

I have been keeping my res for about a year now. I have learned alot from them and continue to learn. That being said I'm glad I got these 2 little rescue girls, as a first step to the aquatic world I want to be able to care for down the line. There is definitely a learning curve when heat lamps and water pools meet. I feel alot more confident even though I did my reading before hand, now I have some experiance. With this experiance I will grow and breed many more extravagant types of turtles and terrapins, hopefully. So my advice is get something easy and inexpensive, potentially an adoptee and get it set up and happy. Once you have the designated rescue turtle you can keep anything 'it will put out a good vibe for ya.'
