I figured I'd get this forum hoppin with all my turtle piks, cuz I love turtles and chelydra serpentina & Macroclemys temminckii are my all time favorites.In time, I plan to breed my chelydra osceola.Anyways here some piks of my young Macroclemys. A nice head shot with a piece of meat in its mouth. That awesome beak of theres is deadly. Gotta luv these guys with their eagle like beak, grizzly bear claws and dinosaur tail!!!

I also like alligator snappers. Mine has been mean right from the get-go, so it'll be interesting how he turns out. Colin keeps mine's five siblings in one tank, and they're as sweet as you please. Perhaps mine is just an ass. An old photo:

Got a few new piks of my ally snappers just chillin... Contrary to belief they love to bask , especially as juvies , but have heard once they are older they tend not to do so.

I was surprised as hell to find a yearling snapper (common) out inthe middle of the forest at least 50meters from the river. It was June, so lots of huge female roadkills, but I never saw a wild adult. Coincidently, this was on the same trail I found the wood turtle... wow was that ever a cool find!
