You know, it really surprised me how social they actually were. You can read about it, then you can watch two large lizards sniff each other's butt (literally) and fall in love. Mine was inseparable from the female while the lived together. He followed her everywhere. They ate together. They drank together. If one did something, the other would get lonely and have to follow. I know I'm not the only PTS keeper to say that. Mine sulked for 2 days when she left. He hid under his waterbowl and refused to eat.

No, I don't know of anyone with a bluetongued for sale... These are really the only lizards with personalities I've ever liked. They remind me of my cat, but less prone to biting me The female who left nearly ripped out a surface bar though, I was pretty mad about that. I still have some thickened scar tissue around it.

Very nice Alex, is that one just chubby or are you expecting little ones?
Shawn, Amanda from Unity who is not on this list (yet) had a few baby BTS born last year, I can check to see if she is selling them or not.

I'm pretty sure based on morphology that mine is a male. I haven't tried probing it because it's at least a two person job. We did do ultrasound and rads on the two of them, and they are so full of food you can't see much at all So at now we're going with fat, but I suspect Colin's is preggers still. My friend Bryan also has a pair.

I too have a trio of PHT...awesome reptiles. These guys do form social bonds. They also come to me when I call them over....
