Now that it is older, I can see the headshape looks more like a corn.
I used to wonder about that one, the pattern looks just like a variable king - and I hoped you didn't get screwed over on it.
Is that snake breeding this year?

I tried him, but got the same results as last year. He is very eager & tries hard & his mate (Amel Supercorn - Corn X JC) is totally receptive (she's a real trollop LOL), but he just can't seem to figure it out. After about 10 minutes or so he starts biting to hold her still even though she is holding still with her tail in the air. If she could speak she would be saying "take me now big boy" LOL but he gets all frustrated & starts chewing. I only subject her to this for a minute or 2 after last year when she ended up with some rather large gashes as a result of his "frustrations". I thought about trying a different mate (a variable female), but why, so he can rip her up too. I may try him again for a second clutch we'll see. Might just sell him. Hes a nice snake, non aggressive & despite being super horny is too stupid to figure it out still. DOH! Mark

Such a nice looking snake - would be really great to see offspring - just too bad he can't get it figured out.
