I really like the jungle corns you posted because they have the colors of nice jungle carpets. To me, those represent the "classic" jungle corn I so much wanted 14 years ago after first seeing them.
I hope Mark from Calgary posts some of his jungle corns. I took some pictures of his precious snake, a totally wild jungle corn and he saved more similar to it and also, and an albino to play with in the future.
There are gonna be some wild snakes coming from that, there already have been so many that I would have had to snap up had I been forced into a colubrid corner like i now am.
While I should be a purist cause it is "cool to be" I see no good reason to be adamently purist about any corn or king, the current cbb stock will never be relased in the wild and it is a dead issue to me.
I've got a bit of a "Teenage Frankenstein" thing going on though, and I always love to see snakes I've never seen before, and the wild colubrids do that for me.
They are designer snakes, something so very unique to any other snake out there some times.

Very nice jungle corn - great color. I only have one jungle left - got a male albino from Bryon and Kaylee a number of years ago and he sired a clutch with a female jungle - I got a male normal and a female albino back as 'stud babies'. Still have the female - very pretty little girl. May breed her to one of my rootbeer corns at some point and debated letting my old durango king breed her this year - would be some really interesting youngsters out of that.

Great colored babies - very nice high contrast. Was the cal king from desert phase? The really white background color suggests desert phase cal king. The normal jungle corn I had showed a lot of yellow in the background color. There is such amazing variety in these guys.
I traded the amel female jungle that I had to Ruth Hanney last summer - then was promptly tempted by a little female Mark Isbell had for sale - her orange colors were just like a creamsicle version of a jungle corn - so she is my only remaining jungle corn. They are fun to have around.
thanks for sharing pics - would love to see the parents too

Thanks.....I like the challenge of the hybrids. Mary , the king was a coastal female , even though the youngster has good white. She bred with a male miami phase corn. I do not have any piks at hand , but possibly in the future. I also produced a couple albinos from that clutch and still have one albino female left. I 'll have to put up a pik of her , she is gourgeous.
