Oh I see, I have competition for finding some of these guys do I? LOL.
Only two guys other than PCP that are working with them that I know of are Roy Stockwell and Darren Boyd(Reptile Rainforest), I've been on a waiting list for two years now but no luck so far.....almost think it would be easier to get them from the states.

I think Jonathan Wright has a pair or more. I also think he got one or more of our blacks a few years back, we had some really nice ones that we imported from third eye herpetoculture in the U.S.
I can't for the life of me remember why I parted with the black pines, I wish I still had our group of them. At one time the late Ken Taylor and I had a friendly competition to see who could ammass the largest pituophis collection in Canada, and I think I had 25 Pits of various kinds at my most crazy poop cleaning days. If there had been money in snake poop I'd have been a rich man back then!

I know this is coming a bit late, but I just received a Black pine from Darren at Reptile Rainforest. He is beautiful, maybe one of my favorite snakes right now; my kids named him Batman (you know the Black Knight). If you want to see it, just drop me a line. I'm in S'toon.
A lot larger (for a baby) than I expected... about as big as my 1 yr old Corn...

I'm going to be buying a digital camera and I'll take pics of all my snakes and post them. I love the look of some of them and I feel like bragging a little. As I'm sure everyone here like to do a little.

Sorry, I doubt he has any left. If you wanted to contact him, you can go to his website (www.thereptilerainforest.com) or at his e-mail address (volcanocorn@magma.ca ).
I believe he has only one breeding pair, and they bred earlier in the summer. They sell out pretty quick. I was lucky to get one, and I paid for mine before the eggs were even laid. I got a male, and he is a lot of fun. The kids love him.
Overall, Darren is a great person for asnwering questions and just a plain old good guy. I met him last summer when I was out in Ottawa.
Sorry if this doesn't help you get a black pine.
PS. According to his website he has 1 female available for $115 right now.
