Ok heres the thing i want to get a kingsnake but my mom dosent want to because she is afraid of them. so im trying to convince her that their not that bad.. its gets worse though... my dad has one(he got from shaun) its nice and all but it can get kinda "pissy"(mostly when it eats) so my mom thinks all kings are like that... so can any one give me some advice to convice her that their not scary like she think

California kingsnakes can have a bit of attitude and they really do like their food - so don't want to be between them and a meal. Some of the other kingsnake species are much calmer - you might want to consider a greybanded kingsnake or the mexican kingsnakes instead of a cal king - they cost a bit more but they are colorful, stay smaller than cal kings and are much calmer. The greybands and snakes like Durango mountain kings almost never bite - very nice species.
