Hey Michelle, mice are a good standard diet for corns and they have a long history of being good eaters and readily take to mice when hatched. As the primary food for captive bred corns they have come the staple and primary diet and most probably the only diet for captive corns.
There are sausage type deals that are basically minced up rodents that can be offered to corns. They are snake steak sausages offered by the company T-Rex. Corns in the wild feed on frogs, and lizards as such especially when young , btu as they reach adulthood they tend to be more warm blooded prey such as mice and other rodents.
You could offer gerbils, hamsters and even Rats of appropriate size if avavilable for something different , but it really isn't nesecary if you are getting quality mice and if they are vitamin /mineral supplemented every once in awhile.
Mice are always available and in my opinion I fear that if you try something else and your snake prefers it better than mice you could run into trouble if it no longer cares for mice. Now you will have to track down its prferable choice and could become inconvinient. This is my opinion and a possibility , but I suspect for the most part it would be no harm....

Mice or rats are the ideal food - and Shawn is right - some snakes can get fixated on another type of prey and then refuse to eat the regular food.
We have used chicks for food in the past as well, but they tend to produce more voluminous feces. I suggest sticking with mice or equivalent sized rats.
Congrats on the new cornsnake - perhaps you can post pictures
