I have recently brought into my home a new corn. I am not sure if it is male or female. Does anyone know where i could get a probe done by someone that knows what they are doing?as i would like to see if i could breed with this one. Thank-you

Your best bet is to call some of the local vets and see if any are experienced with reptiles and probing, a long shot as most vets aren't very knowledgeable about reptiles but worth a try. Other than that I don't know of any experienced reptile keepers in Regina who may have probes, maybe Mary (Vanderkm on here) but you'd have to ask her.

I would imagine Mary would have probing experience, or at least a good eye and give you a good judgement just on tail specifications.I know probing is the surest but an experienced eye for detail on tail dimensions and vent opening goes along way.If you are ever down my way , I could sex it for you through probing if neseccary.

I am in Regina and can probe or pop snakes to determine whether it is male or female. Neither method is 100% accurate but probing gives a pretty good indication. Let me know if you want to make arrangements to meet.
