When replying to a post, you can use the quote feature at the top of right side of the page. You can delete the portion of the message you don't want to quote.
If you want to reply to parts of the message along the way, copy the quote tags in between the [ and ] at the beginning and end of the the quoted text, and use them for each quote you wish to make.
If quoting from another board or forum, you can use the quote tags, which are
[quote*] While that might be interesting to 3rd graders... [quote/*]
Just remove the * from the quoting

Now that doesn't seem right If you want to reply to parts of the message I used the blockquote but it doesn't seem to have worked. Where do I find copy the quote tags in between the [ and ] at the beginning and end of the the quoted text, and use them for each quote you wish to make. Kaley it's me who asked how to quote and I am not grasping it! Carol

That's what I used here. It's the icon that looks like ---->

Gee Ryan, are you making fun of all of my quoting issues? I sure hope not!! Kaley ;D Not making fun at all. I can start a new forum to make fun of you if you wish You are not the only person to have trouble using quotes. I thought that if someone as hugely smart as you were had some difficulty, it was worth mention in this forum which is meant for things just like this. Ryan

Hah! Now you ARE making fun! Maybe you should start new forum for mocking me after all! ;D I honestly wasn't mocking you, I hope you do know that. You are the second smartest person on this forum.... That reminds me of a story... In grade 8 or so, we used to make fun of one of our teachers. Finally one day he snapped and said... "Are you mocking me?" to which I replied "Are you mocking me?" Got part of that day off of school! Ryan
