OK I have been back for a while now but too lazy to post my pics.
Here they are for everyone who is dying to see them!!!!
Very first thing I did when we arrived at our destination
go herping, found this juvenile Common Wall lizard within the first 5 min.
an adult Wall lizard.
these guys are very fast but I finally got one
Balkan Green lizard
Very tough guy to get a pic of, always in the rocks.
Starred Agama ( base of tail and hind leg)
At the creeks we found some jumpers
the aptly named Agile frog (look familiar?)

This is either a Balkan terrapin or an introduced species, I think the latter.
The only snake I seen the while trip. and not a good photo opp.
was in some hole in the wall. Aesculapian snake
some scorpions hidden in the forest floor.

Some really cool giant beetles all are about 1 1/2"

Im sure that there was alot more critter around but when daytime highs are about 38 deg. not much is out.
