Thought I’d post a few other herps too. Not sure where all my bullsnake pictures went to, I see I don’t have that many of them.
Wandering gartersnake (Western Terrestrial)
“wandering” through the cactus
Plains garters, usually very coloful around this area
Big pregnant female I found when I was 8 or 9
This bullsnake looked like at one time It lost most of the skin on its face.
A bullsnake that really looked venomous. You can’t see it so well on these pictures, but he flattened his head more than I’ve seen any non venomous snake flatten his head (except for hognose snakes) and in real life it really looked threatening.
These last 2 bullsnake pictures were taken on April 11 of last year, I think it was the first snake I found last year.
