Well after being stubborn and being late by a couple of days, Elaine gave birth to Emma Madison West at 8:01am April 1, 2006. She weighed 6lbs 7 oz. She is 20 1/2" long. Shes got really long fingers and wrinkly little feet. Not the boy that I thought we were having, but obviously I will love her all the same. Crazy to think that Elaine and I are now mom and Dad to someone. She is healthy and definitely has a good set of lugs on her as we have found out whenever we take off her sleeper or change her diaper.
Elaine is doing really well and did really well during the birth. Hopefully in the next couple of days we can get a little more sleep and we will be able to see most of you in the coming weeks. Emma would love to meet you all.
Hope you enjoy the pics, as most of you know I sometimes take a few pictures. I only have about 100 so far, and that is probably only because the batteries went dead from use.
