Hi All
So, I have a large female Western Painted Turtle that has decided to make a nest in my potato patch.
From all of the reading I've done, it looks like they are an endangered population.
I heard yesterday other neighbours caught her walking down the street, probably in search of another laying ground, and they keep bringing her back to the creek and tossing her in.
I'm guess that she is going to have a hard time finding an undisturbed spot.
Does anyone have any advice on what I can do to give this egg clutch the best possible chance of survival?

I suggest just leaving it be and let nature take its course. The old girl is smart and knows what she is doing by instinct.
