We had a corn lay eggs about a month ago. We were not expecting the eggs quite yet and a few things went wrong and we lost the eggs. They were all weird shapes to begin with so im not even sure they were fertile. On tuesday afternoon our Albino Cali King snake laid her eggs (which we were much more prepared for). She did throw us for a loop and laid them outside of her lay box but we caught them within an hour and got them all moved successfully. Now, onto the questions I guess. We have an exo terra incubator with the water tray in the bottom. I have them in a container on perlite with moist moss covering them. I have been told on a few other forms to put a lid on the container otherwise they wont get enough humidity. We did this with the corn eggs and they were moldy in three weeks time. I do not want to lose these eggs, and im torn on what to do. So far they are looking great. I candled them last night and all of them had a ton of veins through them. I have just been lighly misting the moss once a day and I have no problems doing that until they hatch. Does this set up sound ok to everyone? Thanks for the help!

If the eggs are fertile they shouldn't get moldy. I would personally put a lid on the container but just watch for to much condensation. You don't want water dripping on the eggs.
