At petland we dont do it cause we would have too many complaints about animal cruelty, plus if a feeder rat or mouse injured a customers pet we sold them the situation gets sticky so we just dont do it.

Ok well that's just a pet store thing I think actual feeder rat breeders won't do it I have went to breeding my own because of this and I will have a lot of extras in the near future just wondering if there is any reason why I should not sell them live

I have "thinned" some of my breeding batches {rats} and only have one guy who is willing to actually take on a live rat. I give them out live because I dont like to kill them myself ...but I am open to know why one should or shouldn't ...I am not too sure of the "rules" as there is really no where to get any info on this subj ect...kind of a grey area? I would like to know anything anyone finds out!
