Ok so this forum is very quiet to me and I have a hard time believing that there is only the people on this forum that have reptiles in this province actualy I bought 3 snakes the other day from a guy who has never even herd of the site and there are lots of adds on kijiji for reptiles for sale it would be nice if they were posted here as well I think maybe we need to get are name out some tell me if I'm wrong but maybe we could put an add on the free add sites just to get some more traffic to the forum let me no if I'm wrong or if you have a better way of getting out the name agin I could be totally out of place saying that thanks for reading my ramblings

I agree that the forum is a little quiet but I have noticed that there are at least 90-100 "guests" in a 24 hour period on this site. Why not join in. Now that Sask is having reptile shows I'm confident that HISS is only going to grow every year.

Usually we start advertising for the show about a month or two before the show, but if you want to by all means go for it. It couldn't hurt.

Only reason why I know of this form is cause of the show that was advertised on the saskatoon aquarium society forum last year. What about coming up with a colorful 9''x11'' poster about this forum and I can post it in the confed petland reptile area.

Hey Guys,
This forum has always gone through quiet periods. We advertise, things get busy - then they die down. That is always the pattern. Winter is really the worst. Once people get all their projects lined up for spring and babies start coming it gets a little busier. Feel free to start advertising the forum on kijiji and stuff if you like. I can tell you that we have people coming through our home weekly, and even though some sign up here many are to "shy" to post. I noticed Brad finally joined!! I will be getting some printing made up to start advertising the club in Spring so ppl get us in their mind before the fall show. I will be giving some to Brad(Supercricket) to put in all the feeder orders that will go out from then on. Hopefully that will get some attention our way.
In spring I will also be sending out some mass emails to our entire member base to get people geared up for the show and that usually brings in some more traffic too.
I would advertise the show too much until we have proper information to give out EX) place and time, since that hasn`t been set in stone just yet.

so i posted a add on kijiji and this is what is said for those who did not see it. I'm just letting everyone know about HISS Canada which is a forum for reptile enthusiasts in Saskatchewan. There is a place to sell, buy, and talk about your reptiles. Just looking to get more people involved for bigger and better discussions! Found it on kijiji, i had looke d at it earlier last year just nothing seemed new! Nice job on the retile show etc execpt alta has there exotic sale the same weekend so i cant attend! which sucks!
