Hi, im getting back into leopard geckos after 4 years not having any. Due to university. Now I am ready again. Can I please see some really good examples of proper housing for 2 or 3 leopard geckos. Also, how to set it up properly. I want it done right the first time.
Thanks in advance

This is a 15gal aquarium that I had one of my leos in. I would say a minimum for 3 geckos would be a 30-40gal tank. I kept most of my leos individually in 10gal aquariums. I used sand in this set up but I used paper towel in all my other setups. Some people say sand can cause impaction but I used sand for years and never had any problems. The only time I would recommend not using sand is for baby leos. Attachments:

How do you keep the heat constant?? Lamps or UTH?? What are the components to your moist hide?

I would use a UTH and connect it to a rheostat or a thermostat. For the moist hide you can use any type of container that the gecko can fit into and just add some damp moss. This is one I use for my snakes. Attachments:

As long as they have a moist hide the humidity shouldnt be a problem.

ok. That is good to know. What about lighting?? Is it necessary?? Where in Saskatchewan would I find a good breeder to get one from when I am ready?

Lighting is not needed but it is up to you.
Ask Cindy @ Saskatchewan Exotics.

Exo-Terra has good UTH. I dont think any UTH come with a rheostat or thermostat. You can get lamp dimmers at walmart, home depot, and peavy mart for about 10.00. They work the same as a rheostat. Attachments:
